Who We Are
Read2Rise is a children's literacy and empowerment initiative created to put culturally rich, imagination-filled books into the hands of children who need them most.
We believe every child — no matter their zip code, language, family background, or skin tone — deserves to see themselves as the hero of the story.
Through powerful storytelling, character-driven book series, and community-based literacy programs, Read2Rise helps young readers dream bigger, think deeper, and rise higher.
What We Do
- Publish original children's books featuring diverse characters and real-world life lessons
- Provide free & low-cost books to underserved youth through schools, shelters, and community events
- Host pop-up literacy tents, story-time tours, and book-based learning experiences
- Equip families and educators with tools to raise confident, curious, compassionate readers
- Build early literacy through art, culture, storytelling, and representation
- Inspire self-worth, identity, and positive imagination in every child we reach
